Each IPDSteel Piston starts with a heat treated high strength steel casting, a manufacturing process developed by IPD. This process has been extensively tested and successfully proven in many applications since 2003. For the ISX/QSX, IPD offers the latest open and closed skirt profiles depending on application. Check the piston liner assembly reference below for more information.

*Agkits.com recommends adding the camshaft bearings to the inframe kit. These bearings are almost always worn when it comes time to inframe. Because they are not available in the kit, we have given you the option to add them above. Each set includes (4) 3680580 (3) 3680581 & (7) 4026423.
Engine Torque Specs:
Rod Bearing Torque: Used Bolts: 52 ft/lbs + 60 Degrees \ New Bolts: 29 ft/lbs, Loosen, Re-Torque 52 ft/lbs, +60 Degrees
Main Bearing Torque: Before engine serial number 79012120, 110 ft/lbs + 110 Degrees / After engine serial number 79012120, 300 ft/lbs, loosen, 300 ft/lbs + 90 Degrees
Intake Valve Lash .014" Cold
Exhaust Valve Lash .027" Cold
Cylinder Head Torque: 148 ft/lbs, 300 ft/lbs, +90 Degrees
